The fruit of the Spirit/Vine
|
|
-Sorrow
is a fruit,
God does not allow it to
grow on a branch that is too
weak to bear it-
We all get to sample the
fruits of the vine.
Sometimes it is bitter and
other times it may be
bitter-sweet, but it is
waiting for us some where on
life's path. It is the
bitter/sweet experiences
that teach us of the
strength that lies within.
When you journey with
"spirit" you walk with the
Holy Spirit and will be
greeted by goodness and
trials. If you carry within
your heart love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self
control….this will bring you
more in tune with God's
purpose….and His purpose for
your life.
When you live in and carry;

Your Spirit will change for

experience a growth in
character, a change in your
way of life that is good for
you, good for the people you
live among, and good for all
you come in contact with.
Your newness in spirit will
allow your "LIGHT" to
shine. Lighting your path,
giving promise and hope to
others and driving out the
darkness, Making God's
presence known to all you
encounter.

Father,

a port

lighthouse

needed,

be smart
enough
to "back
off"
when I
am not.

The
path
that
lies
ahead is
unknown
to us.
It often
requires
implementing
a
tactical
plan
just to
get
through
some
days.
When our
Military
is sent
into
battle,
they are
given
all
kinds of
protective
gear
along
with
strategic
plans to
ensure
that
what
ever
force
they
come up
against
they
will
have
what is
needed
to be
victorious.
Faith
is what
fortifies
us as we
walk our
path
into the
unknown. Faith
is
believing
and
trusting.
Faith is
knowing
that
whatever
you
encounter
along
the way,
you will
either
go over,
around
it, and
if God
deems it
necessary…You
will go
through
it.
True
Faith is
knowing
that God
is there
and what
will be…
Will Be.
..
Although
He loves
us, we
must
live
experiences
that
teach us
that He
is the
only
Way, the
only
Truth
and the
eternal
Light. When
we Have
Faith,
you
trust
the
Infinite
Wisdom
of
God. Some
of the
experiences
planned
for us
will
give us
laughter,
some
pain,
and
tears or
sorrow
and
tears of
joy. We
will
pray and
read the
Bible to
feed our
spirit
and
Faith.
God will
help us,
but some
day's He
expects
us to
get up
off of
our
knees,
close
our
Bible…
and Help
ourselves.

"Alone" time with GOD
|
|
We come this far
by FAITH, leaning on the Lord…
welcome to
Friday, the end of another week.
It is my hope that it finds you
free of worry, in good health
and in high spirits.
If by chance you
are not, I pray that you find
your way back to both as soon as
possible. And the Journey
Continues………
There
are moments when we must go into
our own world. Locking the door
on the outside world and spend
that time alone with God. Only
God is objective in listening to
your prayers then guiding you.
Closing the world out gives you
the quiet needed to not hear
meddling, advice and what you
ought to do from the "experts"
on earth.
God allows you
the freedom to think, explore
options, and formulate a plan.
He listens carefully even though
He knows the problem and the
answers before you come to Him.
But He still
listens.
Only with God,
are you free to think without
advice, to explore without
interruption and ultimately end
up knowing what you need to do.
So for the best advice when
things are pushing you from
every direction, shut the world
out and visit God…
When your visit
is over you will be awakened.
There will be
many roads open to you, only the right
path will be revealed to you…

Whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it
nothing but JOY.
Your FAITH produces ENDURANCE.
And ENDURANCE must have its full effect.
This my friend makes you MATURE and COMPLETE.
(lacking nothing)
Being a peace maker does not mean that you cannot be a
warrior.
Being a Peace keeper does not mean that you can't
protect you and yours. Being a "Christian" does not mean
that you will not speak up, speak out, fight, or say
naughty words. It takes a fighting "Spirit" to maintain
your relationship with God. Through that relationship
comes peace. When you journey with spirit, God has His
hands on you. It is through your relationship with Him…
that you find peace. When you follow God, He understands
that you will be the target of evil and negativity… He
knows that you will be tempted and tried.
When others see that you are a child of God, they
believe that you are a passive personality. They will
do things, say things to provoke and test your
relationship with God. Their belief is that you won't
push back, you live by the word and follow the word…
But when pushed or provoked a child of God will push
back. And if pushed too far, they will put a God
whipping on you that will stick and you will never
forget.
When God see's what you do to stay in His favor,
He will be waiting for you with open arms.

 One
Life, One chance to get
it right
Life gives you one
chance to walk this
earthly journey in the
flesh. Walking a path
that God has Divinely
ordered for you, and to
experience all that life
has to offer and to give
life all that you have
to offer as you prepare
to move beyond the flesh
into the "spiritual
realm."
While we spend too much
time on negative,
unimportant things, we
waste time. Realize and
understand that
life is short. It is
short because we always
feel that there is
something left to do. No one
ever wants to leave.
Regardless of what one
goes through, very few
people just want to give
up on life.
Spending time wondering
what could have been,
what should have happened,
who did me wrong… is a
waste of time. One never
worries about who they
wronged because they
were the beneficiary.
But the baggage that we
travel with is only as
full as we make it. The
weight and contents of
your baggage is based on
what happened to you on
this journey. If it is
too heavy… maybe you
need to release some
issues from the past,
you might need to
forgive a few people,
you may need to tell a
few people off and
maybe, just maybe you
need to examine self
without limited vision.
God made us perfect, but
we are imperfect. Yes
we make mistakes and we
can have a touch of evil
and selfishness in our
spirit. But the Word is
powerful, and until we
read it, follow it and
live it…our heavy baggage will
slow us down.

Affirmation-
-Today I am

to re-claiming
my power;
re-charging my
"spirit" and
re-cooperating
from the past……
my attitude will
be one of
gratitude-

Do you struggle to fit in?
Are you one of those people that will try to adjust your behavior to be what you think others want or expect you to be… People who see you or deal with you on a regular basis have an image of you.
Their image is based on their interactions with you and the package you present (your appearance and speech). Like it or not it happens, but don't get caught up in it.
If what they see is what you really are… keep it up. What ever your profession "you don't want to be the person known for how he/she dresses, but the person that is smart, gets the job done and has presence." This is what builds your reputation in the work place, and generally in the work place they care only about your reputation. They don't care about your values, or character.
Being your authentic self, means no being phony no imitating, no lies just for the sake of appearing to be doing well. Authenticity is true, it is real.
When you are your authentic self, your actions and behavior are the you that is real. You won't forget the important things or the enduring friendships because they are the real thing.
So many people struggle to fit in. At work, at home, at church. But being my mother's rebellious child, I have always been so AUTHENTIC, that I set a standard, and others thought they had to change to fit in with little me.
That was their choice, not mine.
To thyself be true… I have always and will always...it is more comfortable.

Gods Law
There was a
time when
you could
look up to
the heavens
and see
stars all
across the
sky. Even
though they
were
thousands of
miles away
they were
visible to
the naked
eye. The
awesomeness
and wonder
is just a
small part
of this big
universe.
But before
any of these
things
existed…there
was God.
Today the
world is
full of
people who
have strayed
from God's
law.
Nations
rise in
anger
against
nations, the
weather is
on an
uncontrollable
cycle,
mankind has
become so
arrogant and
distant from
God. Can
you imagine
man thinking
they can
rule the
earth…
Before man
came into
being… God
Was….and now
that we are
here…God Is.
With all
the great
wonders that
God created…
He is
greater.
When you
forgot that
God is.. and
He watches
all.
You are not
living the
life of a
believer.
In
Revelations,
God warns
us " I am
Alpha and
Omega, the
beginning
and the
ending, saith the
Lord. which
is, and
which was,
and which is
to come, the
Almighty."
As He said
"I Am" it
means His
continued
existence
over and
beyond the
centuries. "I
AM" says His
existence
reaches back
centuries
beyond human
understanding
and forward
into a
heavenly
eternity
which our
minds will
never
comprehend.
God saw all
things come
into being..
He is the
Creator
and if you
listen
carefully He
tells us
that He and
only He will
be the one
left to see
all things
disappear
into a sea
of non
existence.
He has given
the life of
His Son, He
has given us
the Word to
live by, and
this earth
and food to
sustain
us….. Why
must we
complicate
this journey
by being
disrespectful
of other
living
beings and
of the earth
that He
gifted us.
If you know
God's
POWER…then
you must
understand
His WRATH.
We still
have time to
make it
right.
Affirmations
- I accept my life the way it shows up. From
this acceptance, I now realize the deeper truth
of my being: I am a co-creator with the
Universe.
I focus on the good in my life and simply move
toward it in consciousness and action-
