JOURNEY WITH SPIRIT
|
|
| |
|
|
Dear
God, when my hear is
faint, lead me to
the rock that is
higher than me. Let
me find refuge under
the shelter of your
wings for You are my
rock and my
salvation.
How often do you
pray this prayer,
get up off your knees
and still worry
about not being
strong enough to
weather the storms
of life. We all
say "I believe in
God" or "I know he
will provide" then
we worry about when,
how will it come,
will it be on time.
Where is your
FAITH????
A True Believer
knows that there is
no room for doubt,
fear or worry. A
true Believer allows
God to be in control
and becomes the
follower. He
designed the path
for our journey and
knows what we will
face.
He will be there.
Everyday will not
be a great day, and
we will not always
get what we ask
for. We ask for
things that sound
good but are not
good for us…and God
knows this. That is
when you might
believe that your
prayers are
unanswered.. but God
knows best. The days
that appear to be
not so great,
remember who is in
control and though
it seems that you
are alone.. He walks
with you.
Spend your time
living life and
knowing that God
designed the plans
for your JOURNEY.
Rest in the
Assurance that
whatever each day
brings, You are
never alone.
God is smart… and
Fair.
That is why He is in
the prayer answering
business.

JOURNEY WITH SPIRIT

|
|
Dear God, Help us to
help each other.
Change has to start
in the heart, I can
say the words and go
through
the motions, but
until I put actions
to words,
I have not changed.
This world needs YOU
to walk
with each of us,
everyday every step
of the way.
Amen
**************************
Have you invited God
into your life!!!
God is a God that is
every where but He
will only reside
in you if you invite
Him in. He wants
you to accept Him as
your
Lord and Savior, to
invite Him to walk
with you….
Then He will be
there to guide you
as you journey on.
The clay that is our
physical home for
our brief sojourn
on earth becomes a
Sacred Temple
when the Holy Spirit
resides there. It
requires care
and nurturing. It
requires maintenance
and upkeep.
It requires you to
provide and place
where God and His
Law can reside
in peace and
harmony.
God knows that we
fight a daily
internal battle.
The flesh and the
spirit are always at
odds. The flesh is
weak
But the spirit
within is an
equalizer, it
provides strength
and courage
to help us overcome
the weakness of the
flesh.
The spirit helps us
in our weakest
moments,
the "spirit" makes
intercession for us.
God may be absent in
the flesh but as He
uttered
"I am with you in
spirit, rejoicing to
see
your good order and
the steadfastness of
your Faith in
Christ." |

Power in the Name of Jesus |
|
Dear Lord, we
need you …It is
so easy to go
astray, to do
wrong, to be
angry and
bitter. We need
your rod and
staff to keep us
headed in the
right direction.
The people of
this nation seem
to be lost, they
have forgotten
what the right
path is… but we,
your children
trust YOU to
lead us. And we,
the true
Believers……will
follow.
**********
Jesus, God the
Father, Lord and
Savior…
There is power
in the name.
When we are
thankful we call
the name, when
we need help we
call the name.
And each time we
call on Him, we
feel the power
in His presence.
A power that can
calm the stormy
seas of life,
a power that
sends the devil
running for
cover,
a power that is
present when we
celebrate life's
miracles,
a power that
brings to you a
feeling that
everything will
be alright.
When we walk
into a building
that has God's
name on it, or
when we pray in
public places,
we are inviting
and
acknowledging
the God presence
to come where we
are. In our
churches, some
people go there
expecting to
find His
presence, it is
not always
there.
Though the
church is where
you would expect
to find His
presence, some
church buildings
are so ornate
and so full of
un-Godly
spirits, God
will not come
in, and He is
not invited.
This is why "so
many people"
have lost their
way.
In God we should
trust, wherever
I am I am proud
to have Him with
me, I will not
hide it, I will
not deny knowing
Him, and in all
things I will
seek Him. That
is my answer to
His promise to
me.
What is your
answer????

Mozart's
Brain and the Fighter Pilot is a
book about how unleashing your brain
power can help you raise your level
of thinking and reasoning. As young
children we felt a freedom to think
and live outside the box. Color
outside the lines. Formal schooling
has a way of taking some of that
creative freedom away.
Because we are
products of formal education, we have been programmed to
stay within certain limits. Those
limits may be self imposed or
imposed by others but they block our
full use of all the brain power we
have. The wonderful
thing about life is it throws
situations at you that challenge
your ability to function under
stress, forces you to make rational
decisions while under duress, and
through everyday living you are
challenged mentally to interact with
others and deal with sometimes
threatening situations.
It is always
adversity that reveals true genius.
Adversity forces you
to draw on skills and abilities you
never knew you had. Adversity can
force you into seeing the big
picture, options and solutions. God
has given you the brain, know
that in that brain lies the
potential of a Mozart or a Fighter
pilot…we made the choice of how
far we would push our limits when we
decided our lot in life.
In
adversity our genius is revealed, in
prosperity it is concealed.
Within we have all the tools needed
to be all that we could be, the
choice was ours.

As we grow
older, a
sense of
loneliness
can come
over you
that you
never
felt before.
Losing
companions,
parents,
family
members,
friends and
others along
the way has
begun to
thin what
was once a
thick forest
of
relationships.
May God
watch over
all of His
Children for
in later
years we
need Him to
lean on more
than ever.

This
entitles you
to consume
life as
though it
were your
favorite
dessert
while
planning for
the next
dessert. As
you continue
this journey
there are
relationships
with
significant
others,
friendships,
working
relationships
that are out
of balance.
There are
people that
you have out
grown…or
they have
out grown
you. Let
them
go……… Those
that you
have
outgrown
will hinder
your
enjoyment
and kill
your joy.
Set these
things that
clutter your
life and
emotions
free.
Anything
that
disturbs the
natural
rhythm of
your peace
of mind..
let it go.
There is so
much in the
world that
is available
to you,
things to
enjoy,
places to
visit,
people to
meet and yes
food to
sample. All
by Divine
order yours
are waiting
for you.
Search and
seek what is
rightfully
yours.
The calm
that comes
with a
joyful life,
brings
Good health
which is
better than
gold. To
maintain
that healthy
mind, body
and spirit..
you must
clear the
things that
clutter your
life.
Some roads
are better
enjoyed when
traveled
alone.

If
you are a Christian you know that in
following Jesus you must bear a cross.
Not for the same reasons, but
afflictions, pain in the body,
negativity in the spirit, are trials
that we bear. We may get so preoccupied
with our trials that we forget the
promise of God. We may be so caught up
in our issues that we do not feel His
presence in our life.
But He is always near.
Going through life sometimes seems like
a breeze, no problems, no issues, and
all seems well. These are times we can
forget the need for God in our lives,
but We always need Him, and we really
need Him when we are in distress.
When Jesus stood on Calvary, He saved us
and restored us. He opened the door so
that we may fellowship with God…. we now
share His strength. It is His
strength that will sustain us. And it is
the Cross that reminds us of the measure
of God's love for us and should be a
reminder of our love for Him.
All of my life I have worn a cross
around my neck, never removing it. I
have had to replace them because the
gold wears thin and I have lost a few.
But when ever I feel a need to be close
to Jesus and The Father, I gently reach
for that cross and just hold it.
It brings me comfort…… |
