When you surrender yourself to God's Will,  you understand that God's purpose for you will be revealed over the course of your journey. Some may have the kind of relationship with God and  already know what  God has purposed for them.

A curious traveler always wants to know in advance what lies ahead. This is why vacations are usually well planned to the detail including all that you want to see and do so that you will get the most from the journey.

God does not lay the details out before you, but they will certainly be new, learning, enjoyable times sprinkled with love and pleasure. You can only know "good" when you have experienced "bad."

You must have something to measure it against if you are to recognize it.

It seems that everyone I spoke with this week  is going through a wilderness. Some are facing challenges that have weakened them spiritually. They feel the weight of the burdens and think that they are alone.

You are not alone. All of us must visit the wilderness, it is a part of life.  But when in the wilderness, always know that just as you got in.. there is a way out.

Whatever happens, you cannot be afraid to stand up to the cruelties of life. Even when you think you have reached your weakest point and can't take any more, God knows that deep within you lies an untapped source of strength and courage..you don't know this strength, simply because you have never had to go there.

No matter where life takes you or throws your way,you always have choices. Instead of looking at the down side, we must   nurture the wounded spirit…so that healing will come… then strength and resilience will come.

In every wilderness, there are blessings.  We must never let trials, challenges, or negatives cast a dark shadow over our Blessings.

Do you have Gods ear???? Does He hear your prayers and does he answer your prayers?

Who has Gods ear???? It is those who humble themselves and sincerely hear and heed His instructions. They have God's ear. Without that commitment, no prayful act of any kind will make the prayers of those who refuse to live righteously acceptable to Him.

God warns those who continually ignore His commandments: "When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide my face from you; even if you offer many prayers, I will not listen ... Take your evil deeds out of my sight! Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.

When you pray and pray and feel you don't get an answer, there could be many reasons. Your prayer may have been answered but not as you expected, the answer to you prayer may have been No!  Then you may not have prayed with Faith knowing that it will be answered. If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, pray and give it over to God, He does not need to hear the same request over and over again. Remember He knows your need before you ask but He is God and to honor and respect His position of All Powerful, we must go to Him in prayer.

Remember this…….

"For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil" (1Peter 3:12).

Awareness is the most powerful source within us. For it contains no opposites, "no for or against.”  It is the witnessing power that ushers in love.

And awareness and love are one and the same.

Awareness keeps you in a state of knowing at all times what is going on.

You stay on top of who and what is around you that could be a potential threat to your safety. You keep yourself abreast of what is going in your community, city, state, country and the world so that you will know what will affect your way of living.

Spiritual awareness keeps you in touch with the "Source."

Awareness means you are ethical, honest and one who does good.

If you are in a state of being aware, you would never do anything to hurt,

harm or deceive self or others.  Doing the right thing comes from awareness and from awareness comes our true power.

This is taught not only by Christ, but by the Buddha and other enlightened beings.

Our very happiness comes from the desire to do the right thing.
