There are moments when it seems that everything is going well. You are happy, you have money in the bank.. With your extra money you had planned to treat yourself to something special.

Days go by and then some event happens in your life requiring the spending of  your extra money.  You become disappointed.  But think what would happen had you not had that extra cash set aside for a rainy day. A Blessing in disguise.

Friends as Obstacles-

We all have friends that are experts on everything in everyone's life except their own. They offer unsolicited advice and when asked for advice they don't hesitate to tell you what they would do if they were you.  But they are not you, and some friends are not true friends.

Be careful who you seek advice from, it may be from a close friend that has the little green monster of envy lurking within. They love you and enjoy your company but deep within, they work to sabotage your blessings. Trust God and your ability to make wise decisions.

Knowing when to leave-

We all get caught up in relationships, friendships and employment that work against our very nature. When another person puts your concerns and needs last, it does not serve you to stay in the relationship. Make the appropriate choice for your future happiness.

In your personal life there will be times when you truly love someone, but they are not that into you. Don't spend time trying to force another to love you, no matter what or who the other person is. A lover, a friend, a family member...don't make someone your priority when they make you an option.

Transformation-

I do not ask to walk smooth paths Nor bear an easy load, I pray for strength and fortitude To climb the rock-strewn road. Give me such courage I can scale The hardest peaks alone, And transform every stumbling block Into a stepping stone.

Seeking Victory-

God wants us to be victors, not victims; to grow, not grovel; to soar, not sink; to overcome, not to be overwhelmed.

                        -William Arthur Ward-

Seeking true peace-

Peace is what we all desire. Peace is what mankind believes could be found in far away places, or in some physical process like meditation, exercise or sitting doing nothing.  We spend money seeking peace by traveling to vacation spots that have a serene atmosphere. The Ocean, the islands, are go-to-places when we seek peace.

The peace you find on vacation or through earthly processes is temporary, forcing you to take annual vacations and short get aways during the year. The Bible tells us that true peace comes only from God. Some think that wealth, human relationships, good jobs that pay well, or fame can bring peace... these things have only been proven to be more trouble and stress.

If you long for a deep inner peace, it must start within. Through God, you can obtain an internal peace. There is something about Reading the Bible and Living a Christian life that calms the spirit. It is a serene peace that comes in knowing that God looks after and provides for all of His children.  Knowing that He watches over you and with God all things are possible.... gives you a spirit that is free from worry and fear.
