Difficult days come unexpectedly.  You cannot plan for them neither can you prepare for how they will affect you.  You can only hope and pray to God for the strength and courage to face all that comes your way. 

Knowing that difficulties will come, and meeting them face to face is very different. So many say it won't happen to me. While others try to plan their lives to minimized difficulties.  But no matter how hard you plan, difficulties do come.  

When the waters of Adversity rage in your life, and you feel yourself drowning in a sea of faded hopes, dreams, wishes, desires, problems, stress, illness and just plain old being tired, GOD is the great Lifeguard. 

 If you believe… He will lift you out of the overwhelming waters and carefully place you safely on shore where you can calmly and safely breathe the breath of life and move onward to face a new day.  

The weight of the Cross bore heavy on Jesus as He struggled up the hill. It was not just the physical weight of the wooden cross but the weight of the sins of mankind and the world.. a situation he did not ask for but was born into.  

If someone gives their life for you, what is your responsibility? Are you obligated to that person? Are you in their debt?  

Jesus the Christ does not look at what He did as obligating us to Him. Jesus  never said we were obligated to be Christians.   He said "IF"   If you love me, If you believe in me.   "If" gives to the world the gift of choice.  To chose to believe in Him, to follow Him, to accept Him as your Savior or not.  

If you believe in Him and follow His commandments, the rewards are yours.  As we celebrate His historic journey that started in a stable and sent Him to the Cross. The cross is now on our shoulders… doing right and following Him in this crazy world we live in.

MAY…The light of God surround me;
The love of God enfold me;
The power of God protect me;
The presence of God watch over me;
And where ever I am.... God is…..

Let there be Peace on Earth and let it start with me.
