Love is not an easy feeling to put into words. Nor is a Mother's Love, friendship, spiritual role model, devoted, trusting, or joyful. My Mother was all of these, She loved life and lived it with purpose. She spoke often of her first and true love, My Father Melvin. She loved and enjoyed her children and her grandchildren, and as we each began our own careers, we announced her retirement from teaching and we spoiled her with her hearts desires until the end.
"NANA" loved teaching and she loved her Church. She gave her life in service, she molded the minds of many as a teacher, she helped many financially, professionally, and even fed and clothed those less fortunate. My Mother a Christian stood on principle, she acted to improve the lot of others, and spoke against unfairness. That is what she left us and all who knew her.
