We are one among many in a universe created by God. Because we are of God, our journey must be a spiritual one. We should love mankind and all creatures of the earth. In this circle of life, we are all inter-dependent with everything else. We share this earth that was gifted to us by God, and we should give to it freely and only take from it what is needed to sustain life.
About Joyce-
I was blessed to have a loving and dear mother who lived Eighty five years and was mentally and spiritually fit. She gave to me a spirit of caring, sharing and joy. Without her I would not be the person I am today. I was surrounded by a loving family of two sisters, Queen Victoria my maternal grandmother whom I loved dearly, loving aunts, uncles and other grand parents who provided me with cultural experiences that a little girl growing up in the 50's and 60's in the South would not have been exposed to. I attended my first ballet at ten and visited the White House that same year thanks to my uncle.
I spent 30 interesting years in the corporate world where I was, well let's just say it was a test in endurance and tolerance but I was able to garner invaluable business expertise. I shared 15 beautiful years with Ernest my loving husband who loved me the way no man ever could, unconditionally and without limits. Ernest and I traveled the world enjoying life and each other and shared our home with Wellington Baxter our 4 pound Yorkshire Terrier. Ernest always believed that I was deserving.... not spoiled.
Both have made their transition to Heaven.
After the death of Ernest, my quest for inner peace was endless. It was in documenting my hurt that I conceived the idea for "Journey With Spirit." It would be the passing of my mother that sent my world into a downward spiral and forced me to go deep within my hurt and sorrow in search of comfort.
Coping with Loss, Pain and sorrow, I found Inspiration by writing about this journey I call Life, and the challenges that come with living.............This is what I hope to share with you..
